Christmas is over but there's another anticipating holiday to set our homes and that is New Year's Day. Holidays means party and if they say party that also means a lot of trash piled up out from gift wraps, food utensils and containers, much worse are those empty beer cans and wine bottles. That volume of trash is huge compared to our everyday waste consumption. We can still be green despite the holidays. According to an environmental research paper, some of the non-biodegradable wastes can be transformed into something useful. There are also some ways that people can do to minimize the use of plastics and styros in food containers.
Why not use the traditional plates or serve a pica pica on sticks to eliminate containers. You can collect those cans, crush them and sell at shops. You can also consider creating vases out of wine bottles. Just put your imagination to al of these and you will be surprised that you can make something out of nothing.
