We all know the thing we can do to save cash where its colder but I'll hit on them again. Start by turining down your heat at nigh and especially if you are at work it really turn that thing down not just 6 degrees but really turn it completly off get one of the digital thermo's and have it preheat before you get home, very simple and a huge cash saver.
If you can insulate your bad windows a little bit goes along way really. My doorwall (sliding glass door for some) had a 1/2 inch crack, when the wind would blow the curtins would swing, can you say draft...., so I bought some insulation tape and plugged it, what a difference.
Every thing helps, you may not think so but it does, don't be lazy like me and have it take you two years to realize that if the cutins move and there is no vent under it must come from a draft outside, yeah we saved like 20 bucks a month.
